Blanket

This picture is for Illustration Friday's theme this week which is "Blanket". It's a good theme! I haven't ever done an image with that in mind... but I think I will. I like the word "blanket" as in a "Blanket of leaves" or a "blanket of snow" or "mist". I like the sound of the word too.
This little picture is only about 5x 7 inches in size and it illustrates a young girl's dream. She is draped in a blanket of long hair!

Here are some plain fairies on deserted plain at Winter. I like the Illustration Friday theme this week "plain"... after the opulent holiday season I really find the quiet, simple, sober days of January, February and March appealing. I hope you have a great day and weekend and week!

1. A friend once dubbed me "Random" because of the way I communicate.
2. I wanted to be a Flamenco Dancer when I was a child.
3. For my birthday once my Dad broke a raw egg over my head then presented me with a real top hat (what a guy!) (I was very young) (I still have the hat).
4. I was raised in a Zoo (my father was a zoo director during those formative years)
5. I visualize everything I hear so please watch what you say around me.
(Wow! I feel liberated now!)
